Closing or winding down your private practice
RWS has been helping specialists for 20+ years. We help with all areas of your business, including closing or winding down your private practice.

As with all our services, we can do everything for you when closing your rooms, so you don’t have to! We can draft and send letters, post and design notifications along with a host of other requirements.
The need to close your practice or to wind down can be due to retirement, health, relocation or because you are moving into a new role. Whatever the reason, we understand the tasks involved and help you ‘tick the list’ regarding what is required.
How we help you close or wind down:
RWS is up to date on the latest information from RACS, AHPRA, AMA, your medical software providers and indemnity insurers about closing your practice. We meet with you to discuss all the information that pertains to your situation and what actions we recommend you undertake. After this discussion, we can create an action plan and timeline of tasks required to successfully wind up your practice. This ensures nothing is missed and accountability is assigned. Typically, our doctors choose to undertake some tasks themselves, leaving the remaining tasks for RWS to action. It is completely up to you.
The goal is for every action you decide necessary, to be completed in a professional and timely manner. This will give you the satisfaction of knowing you have concluded your private practice years in a professional and compliant fashion.
